Cinematic photographer has made a lifetime career out of her passion for iconic portraiture. Focused on music and creative brands. Terhi Ylimäinen works globally while based in Stockholm and Helsinki. Handling still, video, digital marketing and social media. ABOUT TERHI I am a long-term photography professional focused on creating the overall visual identity for music artists, creative brands and influencers. I also do social media, content creation, and digital marketing. I am originally from Finnish Lapland, then studied and worked in Helsinki and lately I have expanded my operations also to Stockholm. From early childhood I have grown with the fine arts. I also fell strongly into music and the iconic portraiture at the time. I have made a lifetime career out of my passions and done a Master Of Arts (MoA) degree at Aalto University, school of art and design. My main working area is photographing international artists for various purposes in the global music industry . I also do editorial shootings and cover stories for the magazines. In addition to this I create unique advertising campaigns and still life photography for the brands and designers . As a freelance photojournalist I shoot video and live stream in the breaking news field commissioned world wide by the biggest newspapers and media houses in Finland. I have also done an impressive career in fine arts. The intensity of my fine arts dramatically executes through large paintings made by using just one black, transparent oil paint on board. My works have been widely represented in exhibitions such as KIASMA Museum Of Contemporary Art.
