ABOUT TERHI

I am a portrait photographer and an artist using both skills in my profession. I am originally from Lapland, now based in both Stockholm, Sweden and Helsinki, Finland.

From early childhood I have grown with the fine arts. I also fell strongly into music at the time. I have made a lifetime career out of both of my passions and done a Master Of Arts (MoA) degree at Aalto University, school of art and design.

I portray with the very special eye and touch of mine promotional photography of international artists, brands and businesses for various purposes in the world wide music industry. I have also done a lot of editorial magazine cover photo shoots and created unique advertising campaigns .

I also have worked as a freelance photojournalist
photographing from editorial stills to documentary interview videos and breaking news live streaming in 10 different countries for the biggest national daily news paper of Finland.

I have also done an impressive career in fine arts. The intensity of my fine arts dramatically executes through large paintings made by using just one black, transparent oil paint on board. My works have been widely represented in solo exhibitions in various galleries throughout Finland, such as KIASMA Museum Of Contemporary Art and Art Fair in Stockholm, Sweden.
