PROFILE Terhi Ylimäinen, born in 1976, is a Finnish photographer and visual artist working with her own studio at Cable Factory, Helsinki. Terhi works as a freelance photographer shooting entertainment, promotional and advertising pictures for different purposes as well as editorial pictures for various magazines and press. Her works are widely used for example by record labels, music magazines and entertainment media. Terhi has graduated as Master Of Arts (MoA) from University Of Art And Design Helsinki in 2004. The intensity of her fine arts dramatically executes through large paintings made by using just one black, transparent oil paint on board. Her works have been widely represented in both solo in Helsinki's well recognized Galleria Uusitalo, and group exhibitions in various art museums throughout Finland, like Museum Of Contemporary Art KIASMA.
